Bengaluru, May 2 : Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) produced a brilliant performance as they defeated Hockey Punjab 3-1 in the finals of the Hockey India Women National Championship to clinch the 'A' Division title.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy also took on Hockey Odisha on the final day to finish third at the Nationals.
The final match started on the attacking note with Madhya Pradesh scoring the first goal through Ishika Chaudhary in the 12th minute, which was followed by the second goal from Karishma Singh.
Odisha hit back with a penalty corner conversion by Asmita Barla in the 40th minute, but couldn't find the equalizer, giving Madhya Pradesh a 2-1 win.
