Madison Square Garden was a massive achievement for Indian comedy. He put Hindi stand-up on the world map. Sad to see him take a break, but health comes first. Hope he recharges and comes back stronger.

Respect for prioritizing health. The touring schedule these artists keep is insane. But a break until 2030? That's almost 6 years! Feels like the end of an era for relatable middle-class Indian comedy.

As an NRI, his MSG show was a point of pride. It felt like a piece of home. While I understand the need for a break, announcing it so far in advance feels a bit dramatic. Could have just taken time off without the long public hiatus.

"Sakth launda" is taking a sakth break. 😄 On a serious note, his journey from Comedy Central to lighting up Times Square is inspirational. Hope this time off gives him new material. All the best, Zakir!

His comedy about Indian families, tuition classes, and relationships is so accurate it's scary! Going to miss his live tours. At least we have his specials on YouTube to rewatch. Get well soon!
