In Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, girl students and female teachers will form a Nari Shakti Human Chain.

Special programmes related to women's empowerment will also be organised at the development block level.

Good step by the government. In a state like UP, where female literacy and empowerment need a push, such campaigns can create real change. Honouring parents for their daughter's attendance is a smart way to involve families.

While the intent is praiseworthy, I hope the focus remains on sustained empowerment and not just a five-day event. Real change requires consistent policy, safe environments, and career opportunities after school. This should be the beginning, not the end.

As a teacher from a small town, I can see how impactful this could be. The cultural activities and debates will help girls find their voice. The 'Empowered Women, Prosperous India' theme is perfect. More power to our daughters! 💪

Including yoga, sports, and self-defence is excellent for holistic development. Building discipline and bravery through NCC and Scouts is a great idea. Hope they allocate proper funds and training for the instructors.

Finally, some concrete action! We talk so much about 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao'. This abhiyan actually puts it into practice at the grassroots. The human chain idea is powerful symbolism. Let's make sure every girl in every district benefits.
