"Yeh Ram yug ka aarambh hai": Sandeep Reddy Vanga reacts to Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana trailer

The trailer of Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana: Part 1' was unveiled on Thursday, and it has already created a buzz on social media. Fans, celebrities and members of the film industry have been sharing their reactions to the grand visuals and the star-studded cast.
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga was among the many admirers to react to the highly-awaited trailer. Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, he praised the film and called it the beginning of a new era.
"YEH RAM YUG KA AARAMBH HAI. Not just a trailer, but the eternal reminder that DHARMA will always triumph over ADHARMA," he wrote on X.

The trailer was released during the auspicious Brahma Muhurat and opens with the introduction of Yash as Ravana. He is seen emerging from the shadows before entering his grand palace and declaring his rule over the three worlds.
As darkness spreads, Lord Vishnu is reborn on Earth as Prince Rama. Ranbir Kapoor appears as Lord Rama, while Arun Govil plays King Dasharatha, introducing Rama to the people of Ayodhya. The trailer also gives a glimpse of Rama and Sita's wedding, with Sai Pallavi playing Sita. The emotional moments continue as Rama accepts Kaikeyi's wish and begins his 14-year exile along with his brother Lakshmana, played by Ravie Dubey.
The trailer also features important moments from the epic, including Shurpanakha, played by Rakul Preet Singh, Sita's abduction, and the build-up to the grand battle between the forces of good and evil, with large-scale action sequences and mythical creatures.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Ravie Dubey, the film also stars Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The music has been composed by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman.
'Ramayana: Part 1' is scheduled to release in theatres during Diwali 2026, while 'Ramayana: Part 2' is expected to arrive during Diwali 2027.

As a Hindu, I feel proud seeing our culture being depicted with such scale and respect. Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman together? This is going to be a masterpiece. But I do hope they stick to the original Valmiki Ramayana and don't add unnecessary drama.
I've read about the Ramayana in college, and while I'm not religious, the trailer's cinematography looks stunning. It's great to see Indian cinema investing in such high-budget productions. I might just watch this for the visual experience alone.
The trailer is good, but I'm a bit skeptical. People were upset with "Adipurush" for bad VFX and dialogues. Let's hope this one brings the grandeur of "Baahubali" and not another disappointment. Excited but cautious.

Absolutely blown away! Seeing the beach and the war visuals... it's like every child's dream of Ramayana coming to life. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's words "Ram Yug ka Aaramabh" are so fitting. Just hoping the movie doesn't get dragged into politics.
