Ryu Hanna was just too good. Winning both singles and doubles is no small feat. Our girls Ayhika and Sutirtha put up a great fight in that doubles final though, taking it to five games. We'll get them next time!

Payas Jain may have lost the singles final, but two golds in doubles is a fantastic achievement. He's such a versatile player. Great to see SAG and Gujarat hosting such a high-profile event. Hope this becomes a regular fixture.

The scorelines show how competitive the matches were, especially the men's singles and women's doubles. It's great exposure for our players against international competition. More such tournaments, please!

A respectful criticism: while the results are good, we need to develop more depth in women's singles. Anusha getting to the final is great, but the final itself was one-sided. We need more players challenging at the top level consistently.

So happy for Manush! And kudos to the organisers in Vadodara. Hosting a WTT event is a big deal. Hope this inspires more kids in Gujarat to pick up a paddle. Table tennis needs this kind of visibility. 👏
