"I will carry your jokes and repeat them every chance I get." This line hit me hard. My dadaji's silly jokes are my most cherished memories. It's beautiful how she's choosing to honor him by living with his values. More power to her.

While the sentiment is touching, I find it a bit odd for a public figure to share such intensely private grief on Instagram. Grief is personal, not content. Just my respectful two cents.

The mention of "makhan" is so sweet and so Indian. It's those little things – a favorite food, a nickname – that hold the deepest connection. Wishing her peace.

Lost my grandfather last year. This tribute made me tear up. It's true, you don't move on, you just learn to carry them with you. Her promise to "be a good person" in his memory is the greatest tribute any grandchild can give.

Calling him "the only love of my life" shows such a pure bond. In our joint families, that grandparent-grandchild relationship is something truly special. Heart goes out to her and her family. Om Shanti.
