When Shah Rukh Khan revealed how wife Gauri betrayed him

As Shah Rukh Khan appeared on director and choreographer Farah Khan's chat show "Tere Mere Beach Mein", he revealed how his wife Gauri Khan lied to him to get something for herself.
When Farah complimented Shah Rukh, saying "I know that you are a very generous husband and you have given a lot of gifts to Gauri", the 'DDLJ' actor revealed that whenever he has given a gift to his better half, although she has accepted it, but 99.9% of the time, she has returned the gift and bought something else instead.
Sharing a particular incident, King Khan told the 'Main Hoon Na' maker, "I had suffered a spine injury and had to stay in London for 1.5-2 months.
I went to a shop and bought some T-shirts, but after wearing them, I felt that they were not the right fit. I was in the hospital, so I asked Gauri to return the t-shirts and buy the cotton ones instead."
Gauri told SRK that the store is not taking those t-shirts back.
However, when Shah Rukh's friends came to meet him in the hospital, they revealed that Gauri had gone to the store and had, in fact, exchanged the t-shirts.
However, she did not bring anything for her husband but instead got a handbag for herself.
"He is in the hospital, why does he need to wear new clothes?, Gauri had argued.
Talking about his professional commitments, SRK will be seen leading Siddharth Anand's much-talked-about "King", in which he will be seen sharing screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time.
Announcing December 24, 2026, as the release date for the action entertainer, the makers wrote on social media, "#KING is Ready to ROAR on 24.12.2026 in Cinemas. #ItsKingTime #KingDateAnnouncement".
"King" will also feature Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Arshad Warsi in crucial roles.

While I love SRK, this story feels a bit... off. Sharing private moments like this on a chat show? I get that it's for entertainment, but maybe some things should stay between husband and wife. Also, Gauri's logic about him not needing new clothes while in hospital is actually quite practical. Not a "betrayal" at all.
Typical Farah Khan show - always gets Bollywood couples to spill some tea! 😄 But honestly, Gauri did nothing wrong. She returned t-shirts he didn't like and got something practical. Shah Rukh overreacts with "betrayal" - it's just marriage, bhai! Also excited for "King" with Suhana, that's going to be epic!
I think this is sweet actually. Shows that even superstars have normal, funny moments in their marriages. Gauri prioritizing a handbag over hospital T-shirts is peak wife energy! 😂 And SRK still loves her madly despite all this - that's real love. Can't wait for "King" though, SRK and Suhana together will be magical!
Yaar this is such a non-issue. Why do Indian media always blow things out of proportion? "Betrayed" is a strong word for a wife exchanging some t-shirts. It's a cute anecdote, nothing more. Leave SRK and Gauri alone. Also, Abhishek Bachchan in "King" - that's an interesting casting choice. Let's see how it goes.
