Did you know Abhishek Bachchan once threw Archana Puran Singh in the water?
Archana had shared screen space with Abhishek's father and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in the iconic movie, 'Agneepath'.
When Big B won the National Award for 'Best Actor' for the movie, the Bachchans had organized a massive get-together in a hotel to celebrate the win.
However, during the party, a young Abhishek, who had just returned from Switzerland, did something that left his parents extremely embarrassed and Archana highly upset.
The 'Guru' actor shared the hilarious incident during "The Kapil Sharma Show," saying, "Everyone was singing karaoke and all that. There was a swimming pool there. I was a kid, and I was mischievous. I think I must have been 13-14 years old or something. So, I pushed her (Archana Puran Singh) inside the swimming pool."
Recalling the incident, Archana added, "I was wearing a mini skirt. He pushed me from behind in the swimming pool."
Feeling bad about what had happened with their guest, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan offered Archana some dry clothes.
"We have kept my Kurta and pyjamas upstairs. So, if you want..," Big B had offered.
However, Archana refused, "I will not attend the party wearing a kurta and pajama that too of Amit Ji's size", she had said.
Made under the direction of Mukul Anand, 'Agneepath' has been produced by Yash Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions.
The project shares the journey of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan (Played by Amitabh), a man on a mission to avenge the death of his father and injustices done to his family by becoming a part of the Mumbai underworld.
It might be interesting to know that the title of the movie was derived from a poem of the same name called 'Agneepath' penned by the famous poet and Big B's father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

Archana Puran Singh is such a sport! Imagine getting pushed by AB Jr. in a pool during a party and still being able to laugh about it years later on Kapil's show. And Amitabh offering his clothes – that image is too funny 😂. Agneepath is still one of my favorite movies.
Wow, 13-14 years old and already causing international incidents in swimming pools! 😂 I bet Jaya and Amitabh were mortified. But seriously, Archana ji handled it with grace. Also, TIL 'Agneepath' title comes from Harivansh Rai Bachchan's poem – so cool.
I mean, it was a prank gone wrong, but Archana ji's reaction was priceless. 'Main Amit Ji ke size ka kurta pyjama nahi pehen sakti' – absolutely legendary. That's the kind of banter you only get in Bollywood families. Abhishek probably still gets teased about this at family dinners!
Such a fun blast from the past! But I wonder, did Archana ji ever get her payback? 😏 Knowing Abhishek's friendly nature, I'm sure he made up for it. On a side note, Agneepath is timeless. Amitabh's acting in that movie was next level.
