"What you have to go through as an actor, unfortunately...Whatever you believe in, you should do": Yash praises Kiara Advani at Toxic trailer launch

Actor Yash showered praise on his co-stars, particularly Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria, at the trailer launch of their film 'Toxic' in Bengaluru on Saturday.
"The kind of role you have performed in this is just a glimpse in trailer. You are so dedicated man. I have seen you like work so hard and you know initially we all thought okay when you get all these actors there could be a problem and there could be so many issues. But I think the start, the beginning is Kiara was so down to earth she dedicated herself and surrendered to this vision in the way she has performed," he said.
Yash also indirectly hit back at the trolls who criticised Kiara Advani for her bold scenes in the song "Tabahi," saying that she should always do what she truly believes in.
"And what you have to go through as an actor unfortunately... (you should not care)...Whatever you believe in, you should do and people will celebrate, people will appreciate. It's just that we are little ahead of times," he added.
The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas.

I respect Yash for speaking up, but let's be honest - Kiara chose to do those scenes. If she can't handle the criticism, maybe she should choose better roles. That's the reality of being a public figure, whether we like it or not.
The way Yash is backing Kiara shows his maturity as a co-star and a human being. Bollywood and South industries need more people like him who stand up for their colleagues instead of staying silent. Respect! 🙌
I think the criticism towards Kiara is overblown. She's an adult and can make her own choices. The hypocrisy is crazy - male actors do intense scenes all the time and nobody says a word. Yash is right to call it out.
Yash is the true king of Karnataka for a reason - he has ethics and values. His support for Kiara is commendable. Also, the fact that the film is releasing in multiple languages including Kannada is a big win for Indian cinema. Toxic is going to be a blockbuster! 🤩
