The numbers are fascinating. BJP is the single largest party but needs allies. UBT+Congress+MNS is a significant bloc. Mumbai's politics is more complex than ever. Pednekar has a tough job uniting her own faction first.
All this talk of "making the mayor" feels like political chess while the city suffers. 11 lakh+ votes for NOTA shows public frustration. Leaders should worry less about posts and more about delivering on promises. Just my two paise.
Respectfully, the focus seems misplaced. The alliance with the largest bloc (BJP+Shinde Sena) should logically get the first chance to form the administration. Constant "effort to make the mayor" could lead to unnecessary instability for Mumbaikars.
As a Mumbaikar, I just want a corporation that works! Whether it's UBT or Shinde faction or BJP, please sort out the garbage crisis and improve public health services. All the best to Pednekar madam, hope she prioritizes citizens.
The vote share analysis is key. BJP has the highest vote share among winners. UBT Sena has a strong base too. It's going to be a close fight for the mayor's post. Interesting times ahead for Mumbai's politics! 🏙️
