Heartbreaking news. She was one of those actors you instantly recognized and felt a connection with, even in smaller roles. That role in Maachis was so powerful. May her soul rest in peace.

Kanu Behl's note is so raw and beautiful. "Until you birth me again" – what a profound way to express that bond. It shows the incredible woman she must have been off-screen as well. Strength to the family.

While her passing is a great loss, I do wish articles like these would talk more about her early career and theatre work. We often celebrate the recent roles but forget the decades of hard work that came before. A true veteran.

ॐ शांति। She had such a versatile career – from Gulzar to Dibakar Banerjee to daily soaps. That's the sign of a genuine performer, adapting to every director's vision. The industry has lost a gem.

My grandmother loved watching her in 'Sadaa-E-Vaadi'. These actors become part of our family's daily routine. A very graceful lady on screen. Sad to hear this news.
