During the inspection, CM Dhami was warmly welcomed by locals at several places.

The Char Dham Yatra is set to commence on April 19. To ensure its smooth conduct, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has already held multiple review meetings regarding the preparations.

On April 10, Dhami said the government has decided that there will be no cap for now on the number of pilgrims for the upcoming Char Dham Yatra, following a review meeting on preparations. He assured us that all departments are fully prepared to ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage.

He stated that all preparations for the Char Dham Yatra are progressing smoothly, with the state government prioritising the safety and convenience of devotees.

No cap on pilgrims is a bit concerning. Last year, the routes were so overcrowded it became a safety hazard. I hope "robust arrangements" includes proper crowd management and sanitation facilities. The intention is good, but execution is key.

My parents are going this year. This review gives some reassurance. The mention of heli-services and disaster management is important. Uttarakhand weather can change in minutes. Hope all officials are as committed as the CM says.

Visiting from Canada and planning to do part of the yatra. It's impressive to see this level of detailed planning being highlighted. The focus on drinking water and cyber challenges (for online registrations?) shows they are thinking of modern issues too.

Directing to complete works in 2 days sounds like typical last-minute pressure. These preparations should have been finalized weeks ago. However, if it gets the job done properly, then good. Jai Badri Vishal!

The warmth of the locals welcoming the CM is the real spirit of Devbhoomi. It's not just about government arrangements, but also about that community support for pilgrims. Wishing all the devotees a safe and blessed journey. 🕉️
