Good to see CM Dhami visiting Gairsain. Hope such visits translate into more development focus for the hill regions beyond Dehradun. The infrastructure in remote areas still needs a lot of work.
While felicitating 38 women is a nice gesture, I wish the government would back up the words with more concrete policies for women's safety, healthcare, and economic empowerment in Uttarakhand. The sentiment is right, but action is needed.
"Nari Tu Narayani" – a beautiful concept. Our mothers and grandmothers in the hills are indeed goddesses of strength. They manage everything from farming to family with such grace. Proud of our Uttarakhand culture.
As someone who has trekked in Uttarakhand, I've seen firsthand how hard the women work in the fields and at home. It's impressive. Recognition is well-deserved.
The meeting with Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan is also noteworthy. She is a strong leader herself. Good to see coordination between constitutional positions for the state's welfare.
