His work during the 2004 tsunami in Puducherry was commendable. Not many know that he personally supervised relief efforts. A true soldier who served even in civilian roles. Hats off to his dedication.
It's sad to see another veteran pass away. His service in the 1965 and 1971 wars is a reminder of the sacrifices our soldiers make. I hope his family finds strength in this difficult time.
While we mourn his loss, it's also a moment to acknowledge how many veterans like him quietly contribute to nation-building post-retirement. The media could do a better job highlighting such lives instead of just celebrity news.
अत्यंत दुःखद समाचार। उनके परिवार के प्रति मेरी गहरी संवेदनाएं। जय हिंद 🇮🇳
A remarkable career spanning military and administrative roles. It's impressive that he was the first from Garhwal to become a Governor. My condolences to the family and the people of Uttarakhand.
