While the intent is good, ₹25,000 spread over 18+ years is about ₹1,400 per year. With today's inflation, is this really enough to make a daughter "not dependent on anyone"? The scheme needs better financial planning to be truly effective.

It's heartening to see leaders across parties talking about women's empowerment on Women's Day. From CM Yogi's scheme to Rahul Gandhi's conversation with students and PM Modi's message – the focus is right. Now, let's ensure these words translate into ground-level action for all women, not just a few.

Helping 27 lakh daughters is a big number. If implemented transparently, such schemes can change mindsets in villages where girl child education is still not a priority. The key is last-mile delivery without corruption.

True empowerment is more than financial aid. It's about safety, equal opportunities, and changing deep-rooted social attitudes. Schemes are welcome, but let's also work on creating an environment where our daughters can dream without fear. 💪

Good step. But I hope the process to claim this amount is simple and online. Often, beneficiaries in rural areas get tangled in paperwork and miss out. The government should focus on a seamless digital process.
