As a cricket fan living in the US, it's so exciting to see the team grow! That win over Pakistan in 2024 was epic. The opening match against India in Mumbai will be a huge test. Go USA! 🏏

The group stage is tough with India and Pakistan. But the USA has nothing to lose. They can play freely and cause an upset. Andries Gous was brilliant last time. Hope he fires again!

Honestly, while it's good for global cricket, it feels a bit strange. The USA team is basically running on players who learned the game in the subcontinent. I wish the ICC would focus more on developing *local* American talent for the long-term health of the sport there.

The first match in Mumbai against India is going to be electric! Wankhede will be packed. For many of these USA players, it will be a homecoming of sorts. Should be a great tournament.

Shubham Ranjane making his T20I debut at a World Cup! That's pressure. But he has SA20 experience. The USA management seems to be backing youth. Hope it pays off for them. 🤞
