Happened in Mumbai too. My auto-wala was very understanding, but not everyone will be. Good that they suggested UPI Lite as an alternative, but how many people have that set up? We need more redundancy in our digital systems.

While the outage is inconvenient, I appreciate SBI communicating clearly on social media about the extended maintenance. It's better than staying silent. But yes, timing could be better—maybe late night? Many small vendors were affected during business hours.

Working in Bangalore, and our whole team faced issues during lunch. It's a stark reminder to always carry some cash as backup, even in a digital-first country. The dependency on a single system is a bit risky.

Bharat pehle cashless bano, phir digital payment fail ho jaye. Kya baat hai! Jokes aside, this shows our infrastructure needs to be more robust. What if this happens during a major festival or shopping sale? Complete chaos.

My mom in Jaipur called me panicking because her maid's payment failed. She thought her phone was hacked. Banks should run awareness campaigns about scheduled maintenance so elderly users don't get scared.
