An emergency landing into a pond? That must have been terrifying. Hats off to the pilot's skill for managing that. The IAF's training seems to have paid off in this crisis.
Good to hear they are safe. But a court of inquiry is a must. We need to know if it was a technical fault or something else. Our defence equipment must be top-notch.
Incredible presence of mind to land on water. That's not an easy feat. Hope the inquiry is thorough and leads to improved safety protocols for all training flights.
Jai Hind! The safety of our warriors comes first. While I'm relieved, I do hope the media doesn't sensationalize this. It was a training incident, handled professionally.
Respectfully, while the crew's safety is paramount, we must ask if there are enough checks on these microlight aircraft used for training. A proactive review might prevent future scares.
