UP CM Yogi Adityanath held Janata Darshan in Gorakhpur, addressing over 200 people's grievances on land encroachment, medical aid, and more.

"Do not worry, the government will ensure effective resolution of every problem - CM Yogi Adityanath"

Gorakhpur, May 5

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister met over 200 people on Tuesday, listening to their problems and grievances while also assuring them that their complaints would soon be looked into and acted upon.

The Chief Minister's assurance came at the Janata Darshan organised at Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur this morning.

"Do not worry, the government will ensure effective resolution of every problem," the Chief Minister told the visitors and also instructed officials to show sensitivity towards public grievances and ensure transparent disposal.

As the people gathered at the Janata Darshan, a regular occasion where the public seeks solutions directly from the Chief Minister, the latter heard them out, collected their application letters and gave necessary directions to the officials standing nearby for resolving the issues.

He referred some applications to the concerned administrative and police officials and directed that all issues must be resolved in a time-bound and impartial manner.

On complaints related to land encroachment, the Chief Minister told the administrative and police officials that if any influential person is forcibly occupying someone's land, strict legal action must be taken against them.

Some people also came seeking financial assistance for medical treatment, to which the Chief Minister assured them of speedy resolution.

CM Yogi directed officials to promptly prepare estimates for advanced medical treatment of all needy individuals. As soon as the estimate is received, the government will immediately provide the required funds.

The Chief Minister also showered affection on the children by distributing chocolates.

Earlier in the morning, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Guru Gorakhnath, considered an incarnation of Lord Shiva, at the temple and paid respects at the samadhi sthal of his guru, the late Mahant Avaidyanath.

He also performed 'Gau sewa' at the temple premises by visiting the cowshed, showing affection to the cows and also feeding them jaggery -- a routine he follows when staying at the Gorakhnath temple.

Good to see a chief minister personally engaging with citizens. The land encroachment issue is huge in UP - hopefully strict action is taken against influential people. Feels like a step towards transparency.

Bahut accha hai ki CM khud logon ki sun rahe hain 🙏 But I wonder how many of these applications actually get resolved. Mere uncle ne bhi kuch mahine pehle apply kiya tha, koi response nahi aaya. Umeed karte hain iss baar sach mein improvement ho!

The bit about distributing chocolates to kids shows a personal touch. But more than sweets, people need timely justice and medical aid. Let's see if the 'time-bound' resolution actually happens. Actions speak louder than jaggery feeding, no?

Gorakhpur ka development achi direction mein ja raha hai. But I wish these Janata Darshans were held in smaller towns too, not just in temple premises - common aadmi ko wahan tak pahunchne mein dikkat hoti hai. Still, acha effort hai.

It's heartwarming to see a leader who prays, does gau seva, and also listens to people's problems. The medical financial assistance part is crucial - many poor families suffer due to lack of funds. Hope this becomes a regular practice across UP. 🌟
