Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday inaugurated the new office of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ganesh Khankar in Dahisar, North Mumbai, stating that the facility would serve as a central "hub" for addressing and resolving the grievances of local residents.

Addressing the gathering at the inauguration, Goyal lauded Khankar as a foundational pillar of the party in North Mumbai region.

"Today is a moment of great joy for all of us. On the auspicious occasion of the inauguration of the office belonging to Ganesh Khankar--a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and a foundational figure for North Mumbai--I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to him, his family, and all the party workers of Dahisar," the Union Minister said.

Emphasising the party's commitment to public service, Goyal expressed confidence that the new office would bridge the gap between the administration and the public.

"I am fully confident that this office will become a hub for resolving the issues faced by the local residents. Just as Manisha Tai has served the people of this area for years, our corporators will now work tirelessly, day and night, to make this region exemplary and prosperous," he added.

Union Minister Piyush Goyal also inaugurated an International Baccalaureate (IB) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) school at the Institution Auditorium in Mumbai's Borivali West and lauded senior BJP leader Ganesh Khankar for his contribution to the region.

Goyal said Khankar had dedicated his life to serving the people and working for the development of the area.

"Today is a very happy day for all of us. Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) senior leader from Mumbai North, Ganesh Khankar ji, who is the foundation of the BJP, has dedicated his entire life to our region and to ensuring a bright future for our people," Goyal told reporters.

Congratulating Khankar and party workers on the inauguration of the school, Goyal expressed confidence that the institution would serve the people of the area and contribute to the education and development of future generations.

"On the auspicious occasion of the inauguration, I would like to congratulate Ganesh ji, his family and all the party workers of the area. I have full faith that this institution will become a centre that contributes to the bright future of the children and serves the people of this area," he said.

Praising BJP corporator Manisha Chaudhary, Goyal said the party's municipal councillors would continue working for the development of the locality.

Finally some attention to North Mumbai! My family has been living in Dahisar for 20 years and we've always felt ignored. Hope this office truly becomes a grievance resolution hub like they said, not just another place for selfies and banners. 🤞

Ganesh Khankar sir is a dedicated worker, no doubt. But Piyush Goyal ji should also focus on why so many local issues remain unresolved despite such senior leaders presence. Inauguration is easy, but delivering results is the real test. Better late than never.

Finally an IB and CBSE school in Borivali West! As a parent, that's actually very exciting. The area really needed more quality education options. Kudos to all involved, but I hope they maintain the quality standard and don't turn it into just another business. 😊

Politicians always talk about 'serving the people' when inaugurating offices. But show me the actual work done on ground. Ganesh Khankar has been around for years, yet Dahisar still has traffic nightmares and drainage problems. Action speaks louder than speeches, yaar.

Piyush Goyal ji is a respected leader, but why does every party office inauguration need a Union Minister? Can't local leaders handle it without the fanfare? Anyway, hope the residents actually benefit from this. The people of Dahisar deserve better infrastructure after all these years.
