Vadodara, June 29
The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for Central Gujarat is scheduled to begin on Monday in Vadodara, bringing together policymakers, international partners and industry leaders for a two-day engagement aimed at strengthening regional investment and development linkages.

The programme opens with the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition (VGRE) this morning, followed by the inaugural session.
The sessions will feature addresses by state leadership and participation from diplomatic representatives and business leaders.
Officials have stated that the conference is designed as a platform for investment promotion, regional industrial growth and international cooperation.

The programme includes thematic discussions on emerging technologies, industrial ecosystems, agriculture and food processing, women entrepreneurship and tourism among other areas.

The discussions are expected to explore investment opportunities and sector-specific collaborations across Central Gujarat.

Interesting to see Ukraine as a partner country despite the ongoing war... shows India is thinking long-term. But I hope the conference doesn't become just another photo-op. We need actual foreign investment, especially in semiconductors and defence. Accha hai, but execution matters more.
Good to see focus on women entrepreneurship and skill development alongside big industries. But seriously, what about the ground realities in Chhota Udepur and Narmada? Those districts need basic infrastructure first. Let's hope this isn't just talk and they actually involve local communities. 🤞
As someone who works with the US-India Business Council, I can say these regional conferences are crucial for connecting global investors with local opportunities. The semiconductor and fintech focus is spot-on - Gujarat is becoming a real hub for advanced manufacturing. Looking forward to seeing what comes out of the sessions!
I appreciate the intention but honestly, these conferences happen every year and results are mixed. My friend's startup in Anand applied for a Vibrant Gujarat scheme last year - still waiting for approvals. Paper agreements se kya hoga? Need faster implementation on ground. 🙏
The partner country lineup is impressive - Japan, UAE, Rwanda, Ukraine. Shows India's global outreach is widening. Particularly excited about the green energy and aerospace discussions - those are sectors where Gujarat can truly become a global player. Let's hope the conference delivers concrete MOUs.
