Tourists flock to Uttarakhand's Mana, praising scenic beauty amid foggy weather

Tourists from different parts of the country are visiting Mana village in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district to experience its scenic landscapes, mist-covered mountains and cloudy weather, with many describing the destination as one of the most beautiful places in India.
Visitors from Rajasthan and other states were seen exploring the village, while enjoying the cool weather and picturesque surroundings.
Harkesh Sharma, a tourist, said Mana Village surpassed even some of the world's most famous tourist destinations.
"I feel truly wonderful. In my opinion, this is the best place in India; it surpasses even the rest of the world. People often talk about places like Switzerland, but our motherland, our birthplace, India, is far superior to even those places. I would urge the coming generations and everyone else to visit this place, see it for themselves, and enjoy the experience," he told ANI.
Akshita Tiwari, who travelled from Alwar in Rajasthan, said the village looked even more beautiful than she had imagined.
"I've come from Alwar, Rajasthan. I used to see this place mostly in videos, but it looks even more beautiful in reality. I still feel like I'm dreaming. Uttarakhand is truly beautiful," she told ANI.
Another tourist from Alwar, Tarun, said the clean environment and fresh air made the visit memorable.
"The environment is very good. It is very pure. It is much better than the pollution we are living in. It feels like I'm finally able to breathe. I'm enjoying the rain," he said, adding that while they planned to take a holy dip in the river near Badrinath, they were also mindful of the high water levels.
Meanwhile, tourist Tapesh Bhardwaj appealed to visitors to help preserve the natural beauty of the region.
"As beautiful as this place is, it is also our responsibility to keep it that way. We should avoid littering and protect nature. It is in our hands to preserve this place as the gods have made it," he said.
The picturesque weather, coupled with the dramatic visuals of the overflowing Alaknanda River and the fog-covered Badrinath shrine, drew visitors from Rajasthan and other states to the Himalayan region.
