TMKOC's Shailesh Lodha gets emotional as daughter ties the knot at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace

Actor and poet Shailesh Lodha, popularly known as Taarak Mehta from the iconic show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, turned emotional as his daughter Swara tied the knot in a grand ceremony at the iconic Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.
Many videos and pictures from the wedding, which have surfaced on social media, show the proud father visibly overwhelmed with emotion while hugging his daughter.
One of the clips captures Shailesh affectionately holding his daughter with love and hugs her as she embraces her new journey of life.
Swara looked resplendent in an ivory and gold Sabyasachi bridal ensemble paired with traditional jewellery and a delicate veil.
Veteran actor Raza Murad, a close friend of Shailesh Lodha, was among the guests who attended the lavish wedding. He too shared glimpses from the royal palace, offering fans a peek inside the majestic Umaid Bhawan Palace.
Another video shared by one of Shailesh's friends showcased a lighter side of the celebrations during the sangeet ceremony.
The actor was seen dancing with his wife, family members and friends to the popular song 'Main Joru Ka Ghulam', from the movie "Joru Ka Ghulam' featuring Govinda and Twinkle Khanna.
The wedding festivities have been making waves online, with several videos and photographs highlighting the close-knit family celebrations and the grandeur of the venue.
On the professional front, Shailesh Lodha became a household name with his portrayal of Taarak Mehta in the long-running sitcom 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'.
He was associated with the show for nearly 14 years, from its inception in 2008 until his exit in 2022. His on-screen chemistry with actress Neha Mehta, who played his wife Anjali Mehta, was among the most loved aspects of the show.
After Neha's exit, Sunayana Fozdar stepped into the role of Anjali.
Apart from acting, Shailesh is an acclaimed Hindi poet, author and television host. He has hosted the poetry-based show 'Wah! Wah! Kya Baat Hai!' and has authored many books of humorous and satirical poetry.

Hey, but what about the whole TMKOVS. stuff? Shailesh left the show on not-so-good terms, remember? But glad to see him happy in his personal life. Family comes first! Also, that 'Main Joru Ka Ghulam' song at sangeet was too funny! 😄

Honestly, I feel a bit sad seeing this. Shailesh was the heart of TMKOC. After he left, the show just isn't the same. But happy for his family wedding. Just wish he would have sorted things out with Asit Modi and returned. Anyway, blessings to the couple!
