Tisca Chopra heads on a family break, says husband now has 'both his darlings available for pampering'

Mumbai, June 27

Actress Tisca Chopra has taken a much-needed break with her husband and daughter and seems to have headed to Singapore.

The actress, sharing glimpses from their fun-filled vacation, revealed that her husband now has "both his darlings available for pampering," refering to herself and their daughter.

Taking to her social media account, Tisca shared a carousel of pictures from her family getaway.

The post opened with a cheerful selfie featuring the actress, her husband Captain Sanjay Chopra, and their daughter Tara enjoying coffee together.

Another picture captures the couple posing on a bustling street, and another picture shows the family wearing 3D glasses during their visit to Universal Studios Singapore.

She captioned the post as, 'A break. Finally. Because getting everyone aligned is basically a full-time job with no HR department. So now we have @universalstudiossingapore for the little Ms, pasta meals on repeat, and @fifa on everything. A spot of fine dining and shopping for moi, and the husband with both his darlings available for pampering ..Balance is being restored.'

For the uninitiated, Tisca Chopra has carved a niche for herself with her versatile performances across films, television and OTT.

She made her Bollywood debut with the 1993 film 'Platform', starring Ajay Devgn.

But she rose to widespread prominence with her critically acclaimed portrayal of Maya Awasthi in Aamir Khan's directorial debut 'Taare Zameen Par'.

Over the years, she has featured in many acclaimed films, including 'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji', 'Rahasya', 'Good Newwz', 'JugJugg Jeeyo' and 'Murder Mubarak'.

She also went on to earn praise for her work in web series such as 'Hostages', 'Dahan', 'Scoop', 'Tooth Pari: When Love Bites' and 'IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack'.

On the personal front, Tisca is married to Captain Sanjay Chopra, a commercial pilot. The couple tied the knot in 1997 and are parents to a daughter, Tara.

Such a sweet family! Love how she calls herself and her daughter 'darlings' for her husband. Proper Indian husband-wife banter right there. But on a side note, these celebrity vacation posts always feel a bit too curated, you know? Still, great to see her enjoying life after all the intense roles she does.

Captain Sanjay Chopra must be the happiest man - wife and daughter both wanting his attention! 😂 Tisca mam is such a vibe. From Taare Zameen Par to her recent web series, she never fails to impress. Wishing the family more joy!

Seeing families like this gives hope in today's world where everything is so fast. But honestly, I wish media wouldn't glorify every holiday of every celebrity. Tisca is talented no doubt, but these posts feel like daily soap promotions sometimes. Still, all the best to them!

Ye wali family humein bhi chahiye! 😄 Tisca ma'am's caption about 'alignment being a full-time job' - that's pure Indian mom energy. Her husband being a pilot makes it even more special, traveling together finally. Enjoy Singapore, you guys deserve this break!

Honest question - why do Bollywood families always go to Universal Studios? I get it's fun but feels like a cliché now. Tisca though is genuinely one of our finest actors. Her work in Hostages and Dahan was incredible. Hope she keeps balancing family and career this beautifully!
