I stay in Warangal and this is no joke. Even with AC on, electricity goes off for hours. Uninterrupted power supply? Bas kar do na? 😡 Also, ORS packets won't help if there's shortage. Please ensure hospitals have enough staff during peak hours.
Common sense advice—don't step out in afternoon. But what about daily wage labourers? They either go to work or starve. Government should provide cool shelters near construction sites and markets. It's easy to issue alerts, harder to implement relief.
My grandmother in Jagtial had a mild sunstroke yesterday. Thankfully, the local clinic had ORS and a fan. But not everyone is so lucky. Needs more awareness in villages through auto announcements and local volunteers. Also, tree plantation drive should be prioritized.
Living in Hyderabad and it's crazy hot even in the city. I work from home but my maid walks 3 km daily. I gave her extra water bottles and a fan. But systemic solutions are needed. Good to see CM proactive, but follow-through is key. Stay safe, everyone! ☀️💧
The temperature in Aliapur hitting 45.9°C is terrifying. I wish the government would invest more in heat-resistant infrastructure and urban greening. Quick fix like ORS and water is okay, but long-term planning is needed. Also, check on elderly neighbors regularly.
