Honestly, this award should have come much earlier. Dharam ji gave so much to Indian cinema - from Sholay to Chupke Chupke, he was a legend. Better late than never, but it's a shame he couldn't be here to receive it himself. Hema ji handled it with so much grace though. Well deserved recognition for the 'He-Man' of Bollywood.
The part about Ahana getting emotional when her father's name was announced really got to me. Losing a parent is never easy, and seeing her there with her husband supporting her... that's family. Hema ji's words about cherishing memories till the end of her life - so true. The Padma Vibhushan is well deserved for Dharam ji's contribution to arts. 🙏
It's nice to see the government finally recognizing Dharamendra ji's legacy. But honestly, I feel a bit sad that he couldn't receive it personally. The way Hema ji described him as a 'wonderful soul mate' is so touching - shows their relationship was much more than just reel-life romance. Class act from both of them.
Reading this made me tear up! The way Hema Malini described feeling his warm presence beside her - that's true love beyond death. And her words about him being a 'good human being' recognized by everyone who knew him - that says so much about the kind of person Dharam ji was. May his soul rest in peace. 🕊️
As someone who grew up watching Dh
