Interesting to see NTK's list with 50% women candidates. That's a bold and welcome move for gender equality in TN politics. But will it translate into votes? Their focus seems more on symbolism than ground reality sometimes.

The real fight is between DMK and AIADMK. These smaller parties making demands... IUML knows their vote bank is crucial in certain constituencies. DMK will likely agree, they need to keep the alliance strong.

As an observer, the commitment to equal representation by NTK is commendable. More parties across India should adopt such practices. However, the article lacks details on the AIADMK's five promises. What are they offering?

All this political maneuvering... but what about the actual issues? Price rise, unemployment, infrastructure? Hope the election promises focus on development and not just caste/community equations. Tamil Nadu deserves better.

Seeman contesting from Karaikudi will be interesting to watch! NTK's growth is slow but steady. Meanwhile, DMK seems confident after 2021. The alliance arithmetic is key for them. Let's see if IUML gets all 5 seats they asked for.
