Reading this from Delhi. The daily reports of sorties and vessels are becoming routine news, which is itself alarming. Stability in the Taiwan Strait is crucial for global trade, including for India. Hope cooler heads prevail.

The mention of a balloon is interesting. What was its purpose? Surveillance? This kind of activity, crossing median lines, feels like deliberate provocation. India has always stood for peaceful resolution of disputes. This needs de-escalation, not more sorties.

While the 'One China' policy is a stated position, the constant military pressure seems counterproductive if the goal is genuine "peaceful reunification." It only hardens attitudes in Taiwan. There's a lesson here about patience and diplomacy for all nations, including ours.

The pattern is clear - increasing frequency and boldness. From an Indian security perspective, we must watch this closely. Any conflict there would have massive ripple effects across Asia. Sending prayers for peace 🙏.

Respectfully, the article seems to only present one side of the story in the latter half. The Taiwanese perspective on their own sovereignty is missing from the narrative after the initial reports. Balanced reporting is essential for such sensitive issues.
