As someone from the US, it fascinates me how Indian politicians and film stars have this relationship. You'd never see a governor meeting with Hollywood actors like this unless it was for a specific campaign. Different culture, but respect to them for promoting a film about such an important historical event.
Priety Zinta looking as graceful as ever! And it's so nice to see Karan Deol working with his father, that must be a really proud moment for Sunny ji. Films about Partition are always so emotional, I hope they do justice to the subject.
Aamir Khan producing a film about Partition? Now that's a combination that promises quality. The man knows how to pick meaningful projects. Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol reuniting after so many years is also exciting - they made some great films together back in the day. Looking forward to August 2026 release!
Nice to see actors taking time to meet political leaders. The Partition is such a significant event in history that even we learn about it in school in Australia. A film with this much star power and from Aamir Khan Productions should be really impactful.
