Sunny Deol makes KBC debut, Amitabh Bachchan says 'It's not going to be that easy'

Bollywood star Sunny Deol is all set to make his debut on the hot seat of Kaun Banega Crorepati as he joins Aamir Khan and Preity Zinta for the grand premiere of Season 18.
The trio will appear on the quiz-based reality show to promote their upcoming film Batwara 1947 alongside host Amitabh Bachchan.
In a new promo shared by the host channel on their social media account, Aamir Khan is playfully seen questioning Big B about this season's theme, 'Sochna Padega'.
"Aapne promo mein kaha hai 'Sochna Padega', toh kya sochna padega?" Aamir asked.
Responding in his trademark style, Amitabh Bachchan said, "Itna aasan nahi hone wala hai, kyunki sochna padta hai na, bhaisaab." (It's not going to be easy because you will have to think now)
Aamir quickly agreed, saying, "Sochna padega, Sir... waakai sochna padega." (Will have to think surely)
The episode also marks Sunny Deol's first-ever appearance on the Kaun Banega Crorepati hot seat.
For the uninitiated, Sunny shares a warm bond with Amitabh Bachchan that goes back decades through his father, veteran actor Dharmendra.
Amitabh and Dharmendra have many memorable films together, including Sholay, Chupke Chupke and Ram Balram, and have remained among Hindi cinema's most respected contemporaries.
Sunny, too, has shared the screen with Amitabh in films such as Insaniyat.
Talking about Sunny Deol's upcoming movie, Batwara 1947, the movie revolves around the partition and the trauma surrounding it.
The movie is set to release on the 14th of August. The movie along with Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta also stars Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol amongst others.

Sunny Deol promoting Batwara 1947 is a smart move. Partition stories are rarely told with this kind of star power. Big B and Sunny's chemistry - I still remember Insaniyat! This will be nostalgic.
Sochna padega? Aamir Khan questioning Big B is already iconic. And Sunny Deol on KBC - I hope the questions are not about Sholay only, otherwise he'll have an unfair advantage 😂 Also, Batwara 1947 releasing on Independence Day is perfect timing!
As someone who grew up watching KBC, it's great to see this show still bringing such star power. The theme "Sochna Padega" is definitely needed in today's world. But I wish they'd focus more on the questions than just the celebs.
Batwara 1947 - this is the movie we need right now. With all the division happening, a film about the partition's trauma is so relevant. And having Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi in it? Very strong lineup. Will definitely book tickets for August 14th.
