Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor turned a year older on June 9 and her birthday celebration seemed to be a delightful mix of family bonding, delicious food and an impressive spread of cakes.
Giving fans a glimpse into the intimate yet fun birthday brunch, Sonam's cousin and social media influencer Anshula Kapoor shared a series of cheerful pictures from the gathering
Sharing the pictures, Anshula captioned the post: "The amount of cake at this brunch suggests we were planning for a small village. No regrets though Happy birthday Sonam didi @sonamkapoor."
The pictures captured a warm family celebration attended by close friends and loved ones. One picture featured Sonam Kapoor posing alongside Anshula Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and friends.
Another picture showcased a lavish dessert spread with around five birthday cakes arranged.
Sonam as the birthday girl looked radiant in a striking red-and-white printed kaftan-style ensemble.
The celebration also included candid family moments. One picture showed Sonam standing beside husband Anand Ahuja as he held their son Vayu just while cutting the cake.
Other pictures displayed an elaborate platter filled with fruits, cheeses, chocolates and dips, highlighting the lavish brunch menu prepared for the occasion.
