Nice to see women's wrestling getting equal billing in this tournament. Kajal Choudhary vs Shivani in 57kg semis should be a cracker. But I'm slightly concerned about the infrastructure - we need more mats, better training facilities, and proper nutrition support for these athletes coming from small towns. Gonda district producing wrestlers is heartening but let's ensure they get proper backing.

Indian wrestling is in good hands! 🙌 Sanjeev at 55kg, Sandeep at 60kg, Nishant at 67kg - these names will become household soon. The real test though will be how WFI sends them for international exposure. Domestic rankings are fine, but we need foreign training camps and competitions against Russians, Iranians, Kazakhs to truly sharpen them. Good start but much work ahead!

Wait, didn't WFI have some administrative issues recently? I hope this tournament was conducted transparently with all proper affiliations. Good to see women's category getting attention - Dishun vs Janvi in 65kg quarters sounds interesting. But I'll believe the results when I see independent verification. Wrestling needs credibility after all the federation turmoil. 🤔

Kya baat hai! Tejpal at 87kg taking gold - UP ke ladke ne dikha diya! 🏆 And Mehar at 130kg heavyweight category - that's our future Olympic prospect. But I really hope WFI focuses on grassroots scouting. There must be hundreds of talented wrestlers in villages across Haryana, Punjab, UP, Maharashtra who never get proper coaching. This tournament should expand to include more regional qualifiers.
