Sharon Stone reveals the name of best kisser in Hollywood

Sharon Stone reveals Robert De Niro was her best on-screen kisser from 'Casino,' recalling a scene that "knocked her out."

"He probably could have hit me in the head with a hammer and I would have been like, 'Oh yeah'. - Sharon Stone"

Los Angeles, April 3

Hollywood actress Sharon Stone has revealed the name of the actor with whom she shared the best on-screen kiss.

The actress branded Robert De Niro "the best kisser in the business", reports 'Female First UK'.

The 68-year-old actress starred opposite the screen legend in 1995's Casino and she'll never forget how he smooched her "right out of (her) shoes" during one particular scene.

Speaking on SiriusXM's Radio Andy, she said, "We did this scene where I have to go to the bathroom, and because I play this hustler, I get him to give me money to go. He gives me this money and I look at him like, 'Really? I think a little more than $50 for the bathroom. And he, reaches in and he gives me, like, $100, and then I lean over and I kiss him".

As per 'Female First UK', after DeNiro "knocked (her) out" with their kiss, director Martin Scorsese told them he had the shot he needed, but still offered another take.

Sharon quipped, "We both looked at him and went, 'Yeah, I think maybe we need one more'".

This isn't the first time the Basic Instinct actress has praised the Godfather actor as a great kisser, and previously suggested it was because she held De Niro "in such extraordinary high regard".

She said on 'Watch What Happens Live', "It was (with) the actor that I admired the most. And my whole career. I just wanted to be able to sit across the table from Robert De Niro and hold my own. "There was just so much attached to it, but I was just so madly in love with him. "He probably could have hit me in the head with a hammer and I would have been like, 'Oh yeah'".

Meanwhile, Sharon recently criticised the sex scenes on many TV shows, admitting she often "fast-forwards" through them when watching at home.

Interesting read, but honestly, our Bollywood stars could give them a run for their money! The chemistry between Shah Rukh and Kajol, or Ranveer and Deepika... that's the real magic ✨. Still, De Niro is a legend.

I have to agree with her point about fast-forwarding through sex scenes now. So many shows use them as filler. In our Indian films, the emotion and the *ishq* in the eyes often says more than any explicit scene ever could.

It's all about the respect she had for him. That's what made the moment special. When you admire someone's work so deeply, any professional interaction becomes charged with that energy. A lovely insight into filmmaking.

Casino is a classic! This behind-the-scenes tidbit just adds to its legend. Scorsese telling them he had the shot but offering another take... that's a director who knows he's captured pure gold. More articles like this, please!

With all the serious news in the world, a light-hearted story about a great kiss is a welcome break! 😄 Sharon Stone has always been candid. Though I wonder, is this really front-page news? Maybe not, but it's entertaining.
