There's great news for the fans of 'School Spirits'. Paramount+ has renewed the show for a fourth season.

The development comes about three weeks after season three concluded with a big change for several of its characters, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

The show centers on Maddie (Peyton List), a teenager who suddenly finds herself in the afterlife and haunting the halls of her high school. She and her fellow spirits had been confined to the school until the season three finale, when the barrier keeping them there was destroyed.

Kristian Ventura, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, Rainbow Wedell, Josh Zuckerman, Maria Dizzia, Ci Hang Ma, Miles Elliot and Milo Manheim are also a part of the show.

Nate Trinrud and Megan Trinrud created School Spirits and serve as co-showrunners. Oliver Goldstick (Pretty Little Liars, Bridgerton), who had been showrunner in previous seasons, will return as a consultant for season four. The Trinruds and List are executive producers on the show from Paramount TV Studios.

Good news, but honestly, I felt season 3 was a bit slow compared to the first two. Hope season 4 picks up the pace. The finale was great though, opening up new possibilities.

Finally! Was checking for updates every day. The show has a great mix of mystery and teen drama. Wonder if they'll explore Indian afterlife concepts now that they're free? That would be an interesting crossover.

Peyton List is fantastic in this role. It's one of the few shows my friends here in Mumbai and I all watch and discuss. The renewal is the best news this week!

Interesting to see Oliver Goldstick returning as a consultant. His work on Pretty Little Liars was top-notch. Hoping for more complex mysteries in the new season. The show fills the void after finishing Kota Factory!
