Sanjay Dutt shares pictures from his meeting with CM Yogi Adityanath
Lucknow, February 23
Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt recently met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the sidelines of a roadshow in Ashiyana's Bangla Bazaar.
On Monday, Sanjay took to X and shared a picture from his meeting with CM Yogi Adityanath.
"It was a pleasure meeting Hon'ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji in Lucknow. Truly appreciate the blessings and the positive exchange," he wrote.
Over the past weekend, Sanjay joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Rajeshwar Singh to launch the 'Net Zero Sarojini Nagar' campaign.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Sanjay will be seen in Aditya Dhar's 'Dhurandhar 2', which is scheduled to be released on March 19.
'Dhurandhar', which hit the theatres on December 5, is currently regarded as the biggest hit, achieving cult status. It has rewritten box office history by surpassing 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. Apart from Sanjay Dutt, the film features Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan in pivotal roles.

Sanjay Dutt's journey is truly inspiring. From his personal struggles to now meeting the CM and being part of historic films like Dhurandhar... what a turnaround! Wishing him all the best for the sequel.
While I appreciate the meeting, I sometimes feel these celebrity-politician photos are more for PR than substance. Would love to see a follow-up on what concrete plans came out of this "positive exchange" for UP's development.
Dhurandhar beating Pushpa 2?! That's huge! Can't wait for part 2 next month. Sanjay Dutt was phenomenal in it. His screen presence is something else.
Interesting cultural insight. In the West, actors meeting high-level politicians often signals political endorsements. Is that the case here, or is it more about social initiatives? Genuinely curious.
Good to see Bollywood and our political leadership sharing a platform. When public figures collaborate, it sends a positive message of unity. More power to both! 👍
