Hyderabad, May 29

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is set to present the upcoming film titled 'Romanchakam', which stars Sumanth Prabhas and Ananthika Sanilkumar in the lead roles.

The 'Animal' director shared the first-look poster of the film on his Instagram handle. He penned a heartfelt note expressing his love for the film. He described the movie as his first distribution project in the film industry.

Sandeep Veddy Ranga said, "Had a heartfelt laugh throughout the narration. Beneath all the fun, there's a strong emotional tact, and for the first time, I'm presenting the film. Glad to announce that BHADRAKALI PICTURES is coming out with a very unique musical romantic comedy."

Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial Spirit is set to release in theatres on March 5, 2027. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga.

In the first-look poster of the movie, the actor Prabhas was seen standing shirtless with his back to the camera.

The poster shared by the makers earlier showcased the actor standing shirtless with his back to the camera. He had visible bruises and wounds, with bandages tied around his shoulder, back, and hands.

With long hair, a thick beard, and a moustache, many fans said his look reminded them of Ranbir Kapoor from Vanga's earlier film Animal. Triptii Dimri is also seen in the poster, besides Prabhas, as he holds a glass in his hands.

Earlier in February, the makers dropped a new poster of the film, showing Vivek Oberoi in a never-before-seen avatar, commanding a powerful screen presence.

The actor can be seen dressed in a dark robe, paired with a pair of sunglasses. He also holds a sword while exuding a confident, menacing aura.

Initially, Deepika Padukone was supposed to play the female lead in the film. However, due to scheduling conflicts, she left the project, which eventually led to Triptii Dimri being cast in the role.

Honestly, I'm a bit tired of the 'shirtless with wounds' look for Prabhas. It's been done so many times now. But the concept of 'Romanchakam' being a musical romantic comedy with emotional depth sounds promising. Hope it's not just style over substance like some of Vanga's recent work. 🤔

Prabhas is back! The poster gives me chills. That thick beard and long hair remind me of Ranbir in Animal, but with more grit. And Triptii Dimri... she's on fire lately! After Animal, she's become such a star. Can't wait for Spirit too in 2027. Sandeep is building a cinematic universe! 💪🔥

I'm excited about 'Romanchakam' but also a bit disappointed that Deepika Padukone had to step out due to scheduling conflicts. She would've brought something special. Still, Triptii is a good choice. Just hope the film doesn't rely too much on shock value. Emotional musical comedy? Let's wait and see. 🙏

South cinema ka future is brilliant! Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas together... what a combination! The poster is raw and intense. 'Romanchakam' being a musical romantic comedy is a bold move, but if anyone can pull it off, it's Vanga. And Vivek Oberoi's look with that sword... pure menace! Can't wait for March 2027! 🚀
