A sudden storm causing this is terrifying. It highlights how vulnerable we are to nature's fury, even during something as peaceful as a pilgrimage. Kudos to the NDRF and SDRF teams for their relentless rescue efforts in such difficult conditions. 🙏

Very sad news. But respectfully, we hear about boat capsizes too often in our rivers. Overloading, lack of life jackets, poor maintenance... when will we learn? The administration needs to be held accountable for safety regulations. Announcing compensation after the tragedy is not enough; preventing it is key.

The part about the family member describing the happy video uploaded just before the accident... it's chilling. Life is so fragile. Om Shanti to the departed souls. I hope the injured recover quickly and the missing are found safe.

The article says the boat collided with a pontoon bridge. Was there a visibility issue due to the storm, or was the boat off course? A proper investigation is needed. My heart goes out to the families from Haryana and Punjab.

In times like these, it's good to see political leaders across parties, from the PM to the AAP MLA, expressing solidarity. The real test is the follow-up action—support for the families in the long run and concrete steps to make pilgrimage sites safer. Jai Shri Krishna.
