I'm running the half marathon this year! It's my first time and the energy is just electric. The fact that it's a qualifier for Asian Games adds so much prestige. Hope the traffic diversions are managed well though – that's always a challenge in Delhi.

As an expat living here, participating last year was an incredible experience. The community spirit is amazing. It's great to see the funds going to junior development – investing in grassroots is how you build a sporting nation. Kudos to the organizers and all the volunteers!

While the scale and inclusivity are commendable, I hope the focus on elite athletes translates into better training facilities and support for them year-round. One big event is great, but consistent infrastructure is what we lack. The Rs 10 lakh for junior programs is a good start, but needs to be much more.

Seeing names like Anish Thapa and Man Singh in the elite list fills me with pride! These athletes train in tough conditions. I'll be there cheering from the sidelines with my family. Delhi, get ready for an amazing Sunday! The city's spirit during the marathon is just wonderful. 💪
