She said that the school's special academic initiative, "Target 100", played a key role in her preparation.

Under this programme, students aiming for top scores in all subjects were brought together and given daily practice questions, with teachers providing immediate guidance on difficult topics.

Hats off to Bhavya and her family! But also a reality check: how many parents can afford to quit their jobs for their child's education? For most middle-class families, that's not an option. We need systemic changes in our education system so that every hardworking student gets equal support, not just those with full-time parental backing.

Congratulations to Bhavya and her teachers. This shows that with proper guidance and a systematic approach, CBSE students can excel even from smaller cities like Ranchi. The civil services dream is also very inspiring. But I wish the article had mentioned what she actually studied in History, would love to know her perspective on the subject.

Amazing result! But why is there always so much pressure on children to score 99%? I understand the pride, but 85% is also excellent. My niece scored 92% and everyone made her feel like she failed. A system that celebrates only the top rankers is not healthy. Nonetheless, best wishes to Bhavya for her UPSC journey!

Great going Bhavya! But isn't it telling that the overall pass percentage dropped sharply? The article mentions a decline but doesn't explain why. Maybe we need to look at how the pandemic disrupted learning for many students over the past few years. This topper's story is motivating, but we shouldn't overlook the larger issues facing CBSE students.
