Rana Daggubati's better half Miheeka treats with unseen wedding photos on their 6th anniversary
Mumbai, Aug 8
Actor Rana Daggubati completed 6 years of marital bliss with his better half, Miheeka, on Saturday.
Commemorating the milestone moment, Miheeka took to her official Instagram handle and published two black-and-white photos from their wedding ceremony.
In the primary click, Rana and Miheeka were standing amidst a beautifully decorated backdrop as the bride and groom, looking lovingly at each other.
Next was the still of one of the wedding rituals where Miheeka posed as a beautiful yet shy bride.
For the caption, Miheeka chose their wedding date "08.08.2020 (sic)", followed by a red heart emoticon.
Reacting to the post, another prominent name from the South film industry, Dulquer Salmaan, penned in the comment section, "(red heart emojis) always my favs"
Talking about their love saga, the lovebirds have known each other since a very long time as Miheeka attended school with Rana's sister, Malavika Daggubati.
Rana and Miheeka tied the knot during the COVID-19 lockdown on August 8, 2020. The close-knit ceremony was attended by family members and some close friends from the industry, including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Ram Charan, and Naga Chaitanya.
Shifting our focus to Rana's professional commitments, he will next grace the screen with the forthcoming Telugu drama 'Rakshasa Raja'. Made under the direction of Teja, the project is expected to reach the audience by December this year.
His lineup further includes the Tamil political film title, 'Parasakthi '.
Directed by Sudha Kongara and backed by Aakash Baskaran of Dawn Pictures, the project will feature Ravi Mohan, Sivakarthikeyan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela as the core cast.
'Parasakthi' revolves around two brothers who are protesting the promotion of Hindi as India's national language. However, they face threats from an officer from the Intelligence Bureau.
Additionally, the 'Baahubali' actor is also producing the war film 'Neelira', which has been written and directed by Someetharan.

Though I'm not a big fan of celebrity posts, Rana and Miheeka seem like a genuinely grounded pair. The way they keep their personal life private yet share these sweet moments is refreshing. Happy anniversary to them!
Dulquer's comment "always my favs" is so sweet! South industry celebs really support each other well. Also, "Parasakthi" sounds interesting - a film about Hindi imposition? That's a bold topic, curious to see how they handle it. 🔥
The fact that Miheeka went to school with Rana's sister makes this even more special - it's like a love story written in the stars! The lockdown wedding was intimate and beautiful, just the way it should be. Also excited for Rana's upcoming projects, especially 'Rakshasa Raja'.
Black and white wedding photos have a timeless charm! Miheeka looks stunning as a shy bride. Good to see Rana's career is busy with multiple projects - Telugu, Tamil, and production too. All the best to the couple! ❤️
Six years of togetherness, and they still look at each other with such love. That's rare in today's world. Also, 'Parasakthi' sounds like a relevant film - though I feel language debates are complex, it's good that cinema is exploring such themes.
