Interesting tour, but 8 days seems too long for a study tour. Could have covered more ground in 5-6 days. Also, Vaishno Devi visit seems more personal than official. But overall, cross-state learning is good!

Finally our PAC is traveling to sensitive border areas! Ladakh and J&K need more attention from assembly committees. Hope they understand local challenges and bring back ideas for Rajasthan's border districts too. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳

Waste of taxpayer money! Another junket for politicians. 8 days to "study" and visit temples? They could have done video conferences. Meanwhile, Rajasthan's farmers are still waiting for compensation from last year's drought.

Respect to Tika Ram Jully ji for leading this! PAC needs exposure to different administrative models. Ladakh's local governance and J&K's security challenges will give new perspective. But please ensure minimal official expenses during these tours. 🙏

M Michael C (Canada) Interesting to see Indian state committees doing cross-regional study tours. Ladakh's governance innovations are indeed worth studying. Hope they publish a proper report with actionable recommendations instead of just making it a sightseeing trip. R Rahul R Good that they're We welcome thoughtful discussions from our readers.
