"Chaos. Courage. Rebellion. Destiny. Yeh sirf ek robbery nahi... ek aisi ride hai jo aapne kabhi nahi dekhi, - The Makers"

Mumbai, April 2

Actor-businessman Raj Kundra is all set for the release of his next ambitious Punjabi spectacle, "The Great Punjab Robbery", which has been locked for August 7.

On April 2, Raj took to his social media handle to unveil the power-packed, intense motion poster of The Great Punjab Robbery, offering a peek into what looks like a powerful story of courage, rebellion and destiny.

Headlined by Raj, the motion poster showcases him in a raw, gritty shade, holding a rifle, exuding ferocity and rage alongside co-stars.

Alongside the poster, the makers announced that The Great Punjab Robbery will storm worldwide theatres on August 7, 2026.

"Chaos. Courage. Rebellion. Destiny. Yeh sirf ek robbery nahi... ek aisi ride hai jo aapne kabhi nahi dekhi," described the makers.

The Great Punjab Robbery promises to be a cinematic ride that's rarely seen before in Punjabi cinema. The Great Punjab Robbery makes for the biggest Punjabi, action-packed spectacle featuring a formidable, never-seen-before ensemble cast including Raj Kundra, Payal Rajput, Garvita Sadhwani, Mahabir Bhullar, Paramveer Singh, Ankit Sagar, Amit Behl and Kulvir Sony.

Raj made his acting debut with Mehar in 2025 alongside Geeta Basra and Savita Bhatti, directed by Rakesh Mehta. The film revolves around Karamjit, a farmer in rural Punjab seeking redemption and family reunion.

He was also seen in the reality show The Traitors, based on the Dutch series De Verraders. The show was hosted by Karan Johar.

Following the premise of De Verraders, the show features a group of contestants participating in a game similar to Mafia or Werewolf, where an informed minority (known as the "Traitors") must eliminate an uninformed majority (known as the "Innocents") to win.

Meanwhile, the "Innocents" are tasked to discover the "Traitors" and vote them out of the game in order to win.

The poster looks intense! Raj Kundra is really trying to establish himself as a serious actor after his debut. August 7 is a good date, away from the big festival clashes. All the best to the team! 🙌

"Yeh sirf ek robbery nahi..." - The tagline has me intrigued! Hope it lives up to the hype. Punjabi cinema has been delivering some great content lately. Fingers crossed this is a proper entertainer.

Good to see Payal Rajput and Garvita Sadhwani in the cast. The women in these action films often get sidelined, but I hope they have substantial roles. The "never-seen-before ensemble" claim has raised my expectations.
