It's a beautiful gesture, but sometimes these wishes feel like a formality during election season. I hope the spirit of Shiva's teachings—compassion and destruction of ego—guides our leaders' actions more than just their words.

Just returned from the local temple after the *jaagran*. The atmosphere was electric! Regardless of politics, Mahashivaratri brings communities together like few other festivals. Om Namah Shivaya!

My family has been observing the fast since morning. It's not just about rituals; it's a day for introspection and seeking inner peace. Glad the leaders acknowledged it, but the true celebration is in millions of humble homes like ours.
