Wonderful to see a highly accomplished Indian woman taking on this advisory role. Her "people-first" philosophy mentioned in the article is exactly what sports administration needs. Hope she can help make golf more accessible and diverse beyond its current image.

Kapil Dev's involvement as President gives it credibility, and now with Rachana's corporate strategy experience, this is a powerful combo. Golf needs this kind of business mindset to compete with cricket for attention and funding in India.

While her credentials are impressive, I hope the focus remains on developing talent at the grassroots. Golf can seem like an elite sport. The real test will be if her advisory role translates into more public courses and programs for young athletes from all backgrounds.
