A thorough investigation is crucial. Akhilesh Yadav is right to call for accountability. How do illegal mines keep operating? The compensation from the PMNRF is a necessary immediate step, but preventing such tragedies is the real challenge.

Very sad news. It's good to see political leaders across parties expressing solidarity. But I hope the state government's inquiry is transparent and leads to real action, not just a report that gets filed away. Jai Hind.

This happens too often in the Northeast. The focus should be on creating alternative livelihoods so people don't have to risk their lives in these dangerous, illegal pits. Thoughts with Meghalaya.

Respectfully, while condolences from leaders are important, they feel like a routine script after every tragedy. The real tribute would be ensuring this never happens again. The NDRF teams are doing brave work. Salute to them.

Om Shanti. 2 lakhs is not enough for a life lost. The government must also ensure long-term support for the children's education and the family's survival. Hope the injured recover soon.
