As someone who studied Indian political thought, Lohia's emphasis on gender equality was truly ahead of its time. His 'Sapta Kranti' (Seven Revolutions) framework is a comprehensive blueprint for social change that we should revisit. Respectful tributes from all sides today.

While it's nice to pay tributes, I wish our current politics reflected Lohia ji's ideals more. He was a fierce critic of the very establishment. His legacy is about action, not just ceremonial posts on social media. We need to ask if we are truly building the equitable India he dreamed of.

My grandfather always spoke highly of Lohia's connection with the common people. He wasn't just an intellectual in an ivory tower. His fight for the marginalized and his push for Hindi as a national language to bridge divides were significant. A true people's leader 🙏

Interesting to see the PM honoring a socialist thinker. Lohia's contest against Nehru is a fascinating chapter in Indian political history. It shows healthy democratic dissent existed even in the early years. His emphasis on decentralization is something all modern democracies can learn from.

His thoughts on gender equality were revolutionary for his time. In today's context, where women's empowerment is a key national focus, remembering his contributions is very fitting. We need more such icons who fought for justice on all fronts. Jai Hind!
