Finally, an award that recognises not just Bollywood but real literary contribution. Joshi sir's poetry has a way of touching the soul. Kudos to NBT for starting this!

A great choice for the first recipient. His work in 'Taare Zameen Par' and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' shows he understands the pulse of India. But honestly, I wish they had some criteria about public service too - giving awards to creative folks is nice, but what about ground-level social workers?

As someone who grew up on his ad jingles and later discovered his poetry, this feels right. The man literally wrote 'Maa' and made us all cry. Respect for Prasoon Joshi! 🙏

Good for him, but I find it amusing that the Defence Minister is giving a literary award. 😄 Anyway, Joshi ji's 'Maa' and 'Lukka Chuppi' are masterpieces. He truly deserves this honour.

I've been following Joshi's work since the 'India Poised' campaign days. His ability to blend tradition with modernity in advertising is unmatched. But I hope NBT Utsav doesn't become a Bollywood clap-fest - there are many unsung poets in regional languages who deserve this platform too.
