I've been following Indian agriculture from abroad and PM-KISAN is one of the most direct cash transfer schemes. Over ₹4.28 lakh crore to 11 crore farmers is massive! But I wonder if they're also addressing long-term issues like MSP reforms and irrigation? Still, kudos for reaching so many families.

I appreciate the scheme, but let's be honest - ₹6000 per year is barely enough for a month's expenses for a farmer. We need bigger investment in agriculture infrastructure, better market access, and fair prices. This is a good start but not a solution. Still, better than nothing. But don't stop here, government should do more.

My uncle is a farmer in Punjab and he says PM-KISAN has helped him during lean seasons. The fact that they're doing 'PM Kisan Utsav Diwas' at village level with live telecast shows they're serious about reaching every farmer. Good to see Gujarat leading with over 69 lakh beneficiaries. 👌
