PM Modi extends birthday wishes to CM Rekha Gupta, praises her 'commendable' push for Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended birthday greetings to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, praising her efforts towards the development of the national capital and improving the quality of life for its residents.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote, "Birthday wishes to Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji. Her efforts to boost Delhi's progress and further 'Ease of Living' for the people are commendable. Praying for her long life and good health."
The Prime Minister's message was among several greetings from senior leaders across the BJP, who lauded Gupta's leadership and wished her continued success in serving the people of Delhi.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also conveyed his wishes on X, saying, "Warm birthday wishes to Delhi Chief Minister Smt. @gupta_rekha ji. She is working with dedication for the development and welfare of the citizens of Delhi. May she continue her efforts in serving the people and contributing to Delhi's progress. Wishing her good health, happiness and a long life."
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his greetings, posting, "Heartfelt birthday greetings to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Rekha Gupta Ji. I pray to Lord Shri Ram that you attain excellent health, long life, and a glorious life."
Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma described Gupta's leadership as instrumental in advancing the city's development.
In his message, he said, "Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. @gupta_rekha Ji. I pray to God that He grants you excellent health, long life, and glorious and successful leadership. Under your leadership, may the resolve to build a developed, prosperous, clean, safe, and self-reliant Delhi continually reach new heights, and may your dedication to public service continue to bring happiness, prosperity, and confidence into the lives of the residents of the state."
Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra also greeted the Chief Minister, writing, "Heartiest birthday congratulations to Delhi's CM Smt. Rekha Gupta ji. May Lord Mahadev's abundant grace always remain upon you. Rekha Gupta is currently serving as the 9th Chief Minister of Delhi. Her appointment marked a significant political milestone, as it signified the Bharatiya Janata Party's return to power in the national capital after nearly three decades.
