Condolences from leaders are important, but action is more important. How many more such accidents in Sivakasi and Virudhunagar belt? The government must ensure compensation reaches the families immediately and implement real safety reforms. This cannot keep happening.

Very sad. These units provide livelihoods in Tamil Nadu, but safety always takes a backseat. The district administration must conduct regular, surprise checks. Jai Hind.

Om Shanti. 16 lives lost just like that. While condolences are being offered, I respectfully ask: what is being done for the long-term safety of workers? These are licensed units, so where was the oversight? Thoughts with the affected families in this difficult time.

A terrible industrial accident. The quick coordination between local ministers and the collector is commendable. Hope the rescue operations are completed safely and the injured get the best care possible.
